The Emmanuel d'Alzon Library staff has created this guide to help you find current and historical newspapers in print and online. The D'Alzon Library subscribes to over 40 daily and weekly print newspapers from around the United States and the world. Through our online databases, the Library provides access to hundreds of additional local, national and international newspapers.
If you have any questions about using this guide, please contact a reference librarian.
To access any of the Library’s online resources, such as databases for newspapers, book catalog, or research guides, provide your AC username and password when prompted.
Print newspapers are located on the 1st floor of the Library, on the shelves to the right of the reference desk. Lift up the shelf to access recent back issues. The Library retains print newspapers for about 1-3 months.
Online versions of newspapers are available through several electronic databases and through the internet. Click on the tabs above to find the newspapers you need.
Do you have this newspaper? If you have a particular newspaper you would like to search, use the Journals tab from the Library's homepage. Type the name of the newspaper into the search box to see if we have access to that newspaper and in what formats - print or/and online.
How do I cite this newspaper source? Use our Writing/Citing research guide to help you properly document your research.
