You are welcome to schedule an individual consultation with me or another librarian through the link below. Though the appointment times are set for a full half hour, they can be as short as five minutes or as long as forty-five. A librarian is happy to help you at any point in the research process, from helping you develop a topic for your project, to finding information, to helping with citations. Zoom or in-person appointments are available. 

Hello and welcome to the Emmanuel d'Alzon Library at Assumption University! I'm Caitlin, the Research and Graduate Studies Librarian, and this guide will introduce you to some key resources and services to support you during your graduate coursework whether you are on or off campus. Use the tabs at the top of the guide to navigate to different topics and feel free to reach out to me through the Get in Touch! box to the left. 

If you visit us on campus, the library has offers the following perks:

• Free printing from your laptop, mobile phone, or library computer.  
• Access to a scanner
• Borrow one of the library's 13 laptops to use while you are in the library
• Choose from any one of our nine group study rooms on the 1st and 2nd floor that you can book here

If you are accessing digital resources off campus, please be aware of the following: 

• When you access databases, journals, or others you should be prompted to enter your Assumption email address and password
• If you are having issues, try using a different browser (e.g. switching from Chrome to Mozilla Firefox or Safari), clear your cookies, and check your firewall settings. 
• if the issues persist, reach out to IT at 508-767-7060 or helpdesk@assumption.edu.
