Unveiling of Father Jacque Marquette's statue on Mackinac Island, Michigan. The photograph captures the moment as American flags are drawn back to reveal the statue. The back of the photograph indicates that Felix Gatineau is assisting in the unveiling. A crowd of dozens of men and women formally dressed are standing watching the ceremony. Stamped on front of photograph "Wickman's Photo" but "M.P. Brown" is embossed on the board around the photograph. 6.5" x 4.5"

Organizing committee for the St. John the Baptiste celebration

Interior portrait of 22 men identified as the organizational committee for the St. John the Baptiste celebration in Woonsocket, Rhode Island on June 24, 1901.  The men are in 3 rows, first row sitting, second and third standing.  They are wearing dark suits.  The portrait is 16" x 16", the bottom 4.5" is made up of a description of the portrait and the names of the men in the photograph. Printed on photograph "Comité  d'Organisation de la Fête St.-Jean-Baptiste, le 24 Juin, 1901,  à Woonsocket, R.I."

Exterior photograph of men and women in open air bus from the early 1900's.  The photograph is identified as Franco-Americans on a trip to Washington, DC.  The photograph is being used as an advertisement for a bus or sight-seeing company.  The top part of the cardboard mounting has been torn off.  The size of the photograph is 7" x 5", however the mounting is larger with the advertising appearing below the photograph.
